By Railway
Nearest railway station: Una Himachal Railway Station (UHL), approximately 80 km from NIT Hamirpur. Chandigarh Railway Station is another major railhead, approximately 200 km away.

HRTC Volvo, Deluxe and Ordinary buses operate from ISBT Kashmere Gate, Delhi to Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh.

- Approximate time: 4 to 5 hours by bus/taxi.
- Common road route: Chandigarh → Kiratpur Sahib → Bhager → Ghumarwin → Bhota → Hamirpur → NIT Hamirpur.

From Jalandhar to Hamirpur
Visitors coming from Punjab may travel from Jalandhar to Hamirpur by bus, taxi, or self-drive.
